Amy Ruman finishes 6th in Trans Am at Laguna Seca
A week after Sonoma, Amy Ruman in the # 23 Ruman Racing Corvette was 6th at Laguna Seca.
164 points gained from the 2-race west-coast swing will help keep her in the running with eight races to go.
Chris Dyson in his # 16 Gym-Weed Mustang won for the first time this year, prevailing over Paul Menard in his # 3 Pittsburg Paints Mustang.
Ruman’s best lap time was nearly 2 seconds off the pace but she stayed on the lead lap of 45 laps completed around the 2.238-mile track.
Ruman and her crew hope to do better in their next outing at Lime Rock Park on May 23-24.
