# 11 DXDT and # 50 Chouest Corvettes flounder at SRO INDY 8-hour finale
Heavy rains and lightning, four hours into the SRO WC America 8-hour finale ended any semblance of normal racing at the Indianapolis Motor Speedway 2.439-mile 14 turn road course on Saturday October 18.
The odds were not that great for the # 11 DXDT Z06 GT3.R Corvette piloted by Matt Bell, Blake McDonald and joined by Alec Udell despite top finishes in ten of the twelve one-hour sprint races preceding INDY.
Trouble struck three hours into the race when the car failed to start after a pit stop and had to be pushed back to the garage.
Solving that mystery cost them 24 laps by the time they re-entered to finish 22nd overall and 12th in the ProAm class.
The odds were much less favorable for the # 50 Chouest Poveledo Z06 GT3.R Corvette piloted by Ross Chouest and Aaron Poveledo since they did not fare well in the sprint races during the season. Joined by Nicky Catsburg, they soldiered on to finish 20th overall and 11th in the ProAm class.
Dustin Blattner pulled off a daring overtake to win the ProAm class in the Herberth Motorsport # 21 Porsche 911 GT3.R, also piloted by Alfred Renauer, and Dennis Marschall.
Roby Foley and Justin Rothberg in the Turner Motorsports # 29 BMW M4 GT3 EVO won the 2025 ProAm title.
