TF Sport Corvettes come up short against long odds in WEC finale at Bahrain

Ben Keating and his co-drivers Danny Juncadella & Jonny Edgar finished sixth in LMGT3 in the eight Hours of Bahrain after winning the opening round in the # 33 Corvette at Qatar. They were fifth in the overall standings.

Charlie Eastwood, Jonny Edgar and Tom Van Rompuy, winners in the previous WEC round at Fuji, finished eleventh in the # 81 Corvette and were fourth in the overall standings.

Each team employed different driver swaps and fuel and tire saving strategies throughout the race.  Whan all was said and done, each driver felt they did their best and are proud of being part of the top-notch TF Sport team from the UK with ambitions that include the SRO World Challenge Asian series next year.

Richard Leitz led his team of Ryan Hardwick and Riccardo Pera to finish fourth in LMGT3 and secure the championship in the # 92 Porsche 911 GT3 of the Manthey team from Germany having won at Imola and Le Mans.  Hardwick in the Porsche and Keating in the Corvette stand out among the few Americans in the FIA WEC that races on four continents.
