# 82 Z06 GT3.R TF Sport “Chromevette wins in Portugal and claims the 2025 ELMS Championship

Hiroshi Koizuma qualified the # 82 Z06 GT3.R TF Sport “Chromevette on the pole.

Through a series of pit stops, caution flags and fending off teams committed to other strategies, Koizuma and Rui Andrade ran up front before Charlie Eastwood held on to beat 3 contenders and win the Algarve 4-hour race and the title.

A win at IMOLA in July plus the win at Portamao sealed the deal.

For the first time, an American manufacturer has won the European Le Mans Series (ELMS)!

Winning the ELMS Championship also secures an entry next year for the 24 hours of Le Mans under the rules of the World Endurance Championship Series (WEC).

With 2 earlier wins, the Richard Mille AF Corse Ferrari 296 GT3 was the favorite with a 12-point lead going in.

The TF Sport # 81 & # 33 Corvettes are entered in the WEC Bapco Energies 8 Hours of Bahrain 2025 finale on Nov 8-9.
