TF Sport clinches 2026 ELMS series championship in Portugal

Charlie Eastwood, Alec Udell and Blake McDonald finished 2nd in the TF Sport # 33 Z06 GT3.R Corvette on the 2.89-mile Algarve circuit in the southwest corner of the country.

Starting fifth on the grid, they advanced to 2nd and scored enough points in the Four Hours of Portimão race to win the LMGT3 Driver championship two years in a row in the 6-race European Le Mans Series.

Matt Kurzejewski, Richard Lietz and Tom Sargent in the Proton Competition # 75 Porsche 911 GT3 R (992.2) won the race.

Winning at Imola plus three runner-up finishes is the hallmark of top performance on a truly consistent scale in a series where the points are so tight and overcoming added ballast for success.

Along with the victory, the TF Sport ELMS team earned an automatic invite to next year’s 24 Hours of Le Mans that will put four (4) Corvettes on the grid.

Andrea Hildago, the long-experienced Corvette Racing Program Manager, who had served as trackside support engineer for Tom Ferrier’s TF Sport team offered her special congratulations to everyone who made this happen.
