Ross Chouest wraps up the 2026 SRO WC America series season at Indy

Ross Chouest in his # 50 ZO6 GT3.R Corvette placed 3rd in the SRO3 class in 40-minute sprint races on Saturday Oct 10 and Sunday Oct 11 at the Indianapolis Motor Speedway.

Chouest charged ahead from 7th to finish 3rd on Saturday.

Chouest started 3rd on Sunday and held that position to the end.

Peter Dempsey swept both sprint races driving the Risi Competizione Maserati # 100 MC20 GT2. (Note: the same Peter Dempsey who drives the TF Sport # 34 ZO6 GT3.R that won the WEC 6-hour race in Brazil in July)

Chouest and team mate Aaron Povoledo sat out the 8-hour Desder Pro-Am class 8-hour race as a precaution that all was intact for the final sprint race on Sunday.

Ayhancan Güven, Porsche Pro, Riccardo Pera, Silver and Kyle Washington, Amateur prevailed over 26 other cars in a lineup studded with All-Star drivers to win the enduro in the GMG racing team # 34 Porsche 911 GT3.R

It seems that Chouest has settled into the SRO (formerly World Challenge series) sprint races to fulfill his ambitions; whereas David Askew and program manager Bryan Sellers have moved on to the IMSA series GTD class with their # 36 ZO6 GT3.R Corvette.
