Amy Ruman finishes fifth in the lone TA Corvette at Mid-Ohio

Amy is vying for third place in the Trans Am points standings after six races in the books and with five more to go.

Race winner # 16 Chris Dyson and teammate # 20 Matt Brabham are a lock for the top two in points.

Let it be said that Corvette hopes ride on the effort and consistency of Ruman Racing in her battle with # 8 Tommi Drissi and # 57 David Pintaric, also in Mustangs. 

Jim Heck & friends made the only back-to-back appearance from the SVRA races a week earlier at INDY in his in his # 64 Sting Ray Coupe.

 The Trans Am series moves on to Road America for a stand-alone race on July 8-9.
