The Corvette team’s track set up notes came in handy for the switch.  Tommy Milner in the # 4 Corvette C7R had things under control during the first hour of the 2.67-hour race, running with Laurens Vanthoor in the # 912 Porsche 911 RSR.

Jan Magnussen in the # 3 was off the pace so the team smartly opted to pit earlier.

The Corvette Racing Team is known for bullet-proof cars and prep.  Parts are thoroughly tested before each race.  Mid-Ohio was unfortunately a squandered opportunity for the # 4.

Earl Bamber taking over in the # 912 Porsche GT RSR won the GTLM class as Porsche prevails atop an evenly-balanced field through the first 4 races.
