GT Open: Nürburgring GP Strecke (Germany)

Commentary by Jan Hyde

Led by second generation Niels Selleslagh, the Belgian Selleslagh Racing Team (SRT) won race 2 and finished 3rd in race 1 at its first outing at Nurburgring.  Their Corvette is the former # 4 C6R ZR1 chassis 002 built by Pratt & Miller and raced in 2009/2010 according to contributing expert Nigel Dobbie.

Jonny Bens, Belgian based Corvette racing expert reports that Neils takes over from his father Patrick Sellesagh who continues in a management role.  SRT and Pratt & Miller are well acquainted.  SRT extended the useful lives of earlier C5R and C6R GT1 Corvettes by racing them successfully on the European circuits.  More on team website below.
