Brakes, fuel cell and other safety items per GCR Notes/Race History: Dr. Bill Geen bought the car new and raced it in Southern California slaloms, hillclimbs and other SIC-SIC Club events until he met Greg Pickett in 1968. The two of them formed Pickett Racing with two cars, this modified to 427/430 L-88 engine A/P class Corvette and a 1968 Camaro Z-28 A/Sedan. They entered both cars in events across the west at tracks like Riverside, Laguna Seca, Sears Point and Willow Springs from 1968 thru the early 70's. Besides SCCA, the Corvette raced in IMSA and TRANS AM events. In 1974, Dr. Bill sold the car to Stan Laskin who continued racing the car in A/P SCCA events until that class was closed in 1978. In 1986, Mark Furcini of Phoenix bought the car and has continued racing the car at HMSA, SVRA and VARA vintage events across the country. The car has a SVRA medallion certificate.
