Engine: The original 2001 Z06 V8 displaced 5780 cc(5.7 litre) and generated 385 HP. The engine, as modified for World Challenge (12:0:1 compression) would yield an estimated 515 bhp, 448 lb/ft of torque at 7000 RPM. After a season of running behind the pack in 2001, David Farmer replaced the original engine with a Katech blueprinted short block and Lingenfelter ported heads for 2002. Other modifications permitted by SCCA included: 1.0mm overbore, alternate approved camshaft GM 88958606, crankshaft, and heads, if acquired through GM Motorsports. Later in the series the cars were also allowed to use new 6.0 litre motor.

Modifications: Alternate suspension pieces permitted providing they are dimensionally correct for OE pick-up points. Alternate approved bodywork permitted, most notably fascia with integrated splitter and 72” rear wing.
Notes/Race History: Raced for three years, 2001, 2002 and 2003. One upset win and track record at Mosport in 2002, defeating P.D. Cunningham in a supercharged Acura NSX, which was running the supercharger under special provisions for one year only. Farmer finished 8th in 2002 points, 7th in 2003
