Lou Gigliotti engaged the tuning expertise of Bill Riley to create a Corvette to compete in ALMS GT2.  Even though the Corvette Racing team was dominating ALMS GT1, they envisioned moving to GT2 and prevailed upon MIchelin not to supply tires which offered better handling and wear characteristics than Dunlop, Goodyear and other brands.  Gigliotti sued to no avail spelling this car to be shelved.  It has been displayed at the NCM and has been offered for sale.  No takers so far at mid six figure asking price.  More info:   http://registryofcorvetteracecars.com/ee/index.php/site/view_cars/981

This is the last Corvette ZO6 of several prepared by Marsh Racing that Whelen backed in the Grand Am and SCCA pro World Challenge Series. This is one of several C6 GT3 Corvettes specially constructed by Callaway Team in Leingarten to race in the ADAC-GT Masters Series for Pros and Amateur drivers.  Under Ernst Woehr and Giovanni Cicotti, the team is the longest established and has the best record competing against AMG Mercedes, Audi, BMW, Porsche, Bentley, Nissan and Lamborghini.  A number of these cars have seen action abroad in the hands of other customers.  Details known but not yet posted.
