1957 Sebring -- # 3 RACE CAR AT PRACTICE. The 3P, practice car is behind the actual race # 3 car. There were two race cars. # 3 and #4. There were at least 3 practice cars, 3P, 49 and 9P. It is believed all the “P” cars were left over Nassau Race cars from December 1956 that were updated with new engineering systems and used for testing. At least six weeks of testing at SEBRING took place from early February thru mid March 1957.
